The Somiedo Nature Park, in Asturias, has been chosen by Internet users among the “seven wonders of Spain”.

The book “Seven Wonders of Spain” combines the passion of travel and photography to tour the natural spaces chosen on social networks by more than 82,000 people as the most beautiful and representative of the country.

These natural paradises are the Biscayan rock of Gaztelugatxe, the natural parks of Somiedo (Asturias) and Cabo de Gata (Almería), Las Médulas (León), the Lagunas de Ruidera (Ciudad Real), Fuente Dé (Cantabria) and Playa de As Cathedrals (Lugo).

The objective of the book, edited by Allianz Global Assistance, has been to collect the impressions and feelings of the thousands of people who participated in said vote and to promote the discovery of those corners that, although close, are still unknown.

Its pages allow you to visit environments as diverse as deserts, mountains, valleys and marshes, by the hand of the Mexican photographer and artist Elssie Ansareo.
